I have this urgent position with my MNC client in Bangalore for Systems Manageability Software Architect( SMTS Level).

Job Description:

Lead the software requirements, architecture, and technical development activities for out of band remote systems management.  Identify competitive threats to AMD’s products in the area of Systems Manageability and contribute to long term roadmaps.  The position requires some work with the DMTF standards body (DASH, SMASH, about 20% of workload), and customer interfacing.

Qualifications:

MS or PHD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

6+ years of software development experience

Systems Management desirable

2+ years experience as a technical lead/primary software  architect

Strong knowledge of Visual Studio,  XML, C and C++, and scripting languages (Perl, Python) and Windows package installation tools

Knowledge of active directory and Windows Security

Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and security (certificates, 802.1x)

Strong understanding of SOAP and/or Web Services Management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Track record of strong teamwork and technical leadership

Ability to work effectively with internal and external partners

Experience in evaluating, licensing and integrating third party components

Ability to write clear and complete software requirement documents

Knowledge of PC architectures (client and or server)

Knowledge of one or more server or Desktop manageability implementations or standards (DASH, SMASH, WEBM, SMBIOS, ASF, Intel AMT)

Familiarity with 1 or more management consoles (Landesk, Altiris, Microsoft SMS or SCCM) is a plus.

Familiarity with the workflows used by IT to manage clients and servers is a plus.
